„Canada and the United States have built a remarkable partnership. In the economy, in security and in rich cultural exchange. But Canada doesn’t live because of the United States,“ Carney said
„Canada thrives because we are Canadian.“

How does Carney not understand that Canada’s prosperity is directly related to the 75% of our exports that are bought by the US. Our economy would be devastated for example by cancellation of the cusma trade agreement. A little appreciation towards our benefactor would go a long way.

„In a time of rising walls and thickening borders, we can demonstrate how a country can be both open and secure, welcoming and strong, principled and powerful.“
Carney just can’t not hit hard with his comments. I won’t agree with many policies, but echoing a lot of other comments in threads in the past week – I’m glad this guys at the helm right now.

Man the Conservatives talking points are literally insane. As a centrist I can see the positives of both sides but the Conservative attitude seems to mirror Polliviere. You can’t just continually say the Conservatives would do it better. Back it up. What ideas do you have that Carney should implement? This left vs right BS is a dark road towards politics similar to what’s happening in the US. I don’t want their politics here.
