      Do they name the Airport „Yassir Arafat Airport“ or „Donald Trump Mega Airport“? And what about the current population who live there? Will they drive them off? If they want to do this „master Plan“, they need to demolish all current buildings, dig 30m deep to get rid of all the tunnels and start completely from scratch.

      „Datacenters“ lmao. Why would they want data centers here? Why would anyone build one here? Where is the power coming from? This is totally unserious.

      Will it be a walkable 15 minute city? Where is the „tunnel adventure“ park? Will Palestinian home owners be compensated? Will Palestinians actually have a part in city planning and will they really be allowed to live in their own country? Will they all be chipped and have a million cameras watching them 24/7?

      As an Israeli… This is fucked up…

      A. Western urban planning doesn’t work in the middle east…
      B. It’s too densely populated for this to work… You will actually have to genocide, ethnic cleanse or find other ways to clear land to have this little residential areas. It’s just going to be more dense…
      C. No way Israel will let Gaza have an airport… Maybe a marine port if it’s been regulated by Israel.

      I think he’s trying to make a park…

      I mean Trump was literally saying he is planning to transform Gaza into a hotel resort. And whenever he talks bullshit people say that he doesn’t mean it like that, but hell, of course he does! There is no deeper meening in what he says, he actually mean it.

      So they teared down Gaza and killed all these people to make money and you guys are surprised why the plan has the structure of an american suburb. Wake up!

      Not a single brick of this will be laid. Its just a scribble on paper to justify the $1 billion bribes. In 12 months time people will need their memory jogged to remember this existed.

      There will be no Golden Dome, no Golden Fleet and no Gaza Riviera.

      Its all a scam.

      Why are all of the industrial zones along the Israeli border instead of near the port, airport and rail hubs?

      What happens to the existing properties of the Gazans? What happens to the ancient and archeological sites? What happens to the existing farm land in that ~1km white border? This plan assumes that the area is greenfield, as if no one ever existed there. It is just disgusting.

      Looks like an absolute drunk on power pipe dream. Absolutely set up
      To maximize profits at any cost. And plan that starts with a phase one being about 3% of the project must be rejected out of hand. But, many 1% are going to get even more rich off of all this suffering.

      This kind of ignores the fact that there are already cities and people in Gaza. They treat it like it is empty space

      By the looks of it, it doesn’t seem as though there will be enough residential space allocated to hold the nearly 2 million (??) or so people that supposedly currently live in the Gaza Strip. Seems like a lot of them will have to go elsewhere.

      Overall I see his plan as a way to transform the Gaza strip into a high tech hub that is incompatible with the vast majority of the people who live there now. I have doubts that most Palestinians there have engineering/science degrees or have the skills to work in datacenters and high tech manufacturing.

      I get the feeling it will be mostly Jewish people living here from now on.

      Pretty funny, everyone excluding Israel forgot the first stage of the ceasefire deal hasn’t been achieved, there is one hostage’s body held in Gaza and Hamas isn’t anywhere close to being disarmed or removed from power

      The natural gas reserves found on the coastline (around Y2K) in front of the strip is what they have all wanted to control – extracting that will cover datacenter build and long term energy farms. It will become an industrial business park with western luxuries for foreign workers – all paid for by those currently under threat of the same. Odessa next?
