Time to reschedule the world cup games to Canada and Mexico only. Same with the Olympics. This apartheid state can’t be trusted with either.

These brownshirt pieces of human waste have zero oversight and get away with whatever they want to do. I would wager money that they knew exactly who they were detaining and just did it because of a baseball rivalry and because they knew there would be no repercussions.

He forgot is paperwork and was briefly detained while everything was verified. He was held up for less than an hour.

This isn’t really that big of a deal.

Im guessing no one read the article? He did not have his documents.

Good news everyone, to get current sitting democrats to do anything about this immigration business all you have to do is be an athlete in their state.

I’d love to see a whole new slew of Democrats taking these seats.

This just highlights how complicated immigration laws can be. Even celebrities aren’t immune to the system.

  7. Okay, I despise ICE as much as anyone else, but since many of the comments here did not appear to read the article, this isn’t because of ICE. He forgot his documents back in S. Korea (though it’s baffling that the airline didn’t check his documents before he boarded the plane). Being stopped by customs would happen with or without Trump in office.

Be cool if she did this for non millionaire famous athletes, too.

Because when it’s sports, it is important, but mothers can be gunned down in the street.

This headline is sensationalised. He forgot his passport/visa paperwork. Of course they are not going to let you into the country if you do that. It’s just funny that it happened in LA of all places!

I haven’t actually seen ICE make a big criminal bust yet. And if they had, you know it would be everywhere

No big stash houses with undocumented, no human trafficking operations, no big drug busts, or gangs trafficking weapons. It’s almost like undocumented participation in those aren’t nearly as common as this administration would have you believe.

Or it’s by design, and they know better than going after actual criminals with how poorly trained they are. Because a true criminal bust like any mentioned above would come with some rough people with nothing to lose and ICE would probably have a very difficult time. If those were the kind of busts they were making on the regular, they’d have more support. Instead of ya know, a 5 year old in a bunny hat.

Streets are so much safer without that kid roaming free /s

So thats the line you dint criss with her? You can detain citizens and murder them but dont you dare touch my favorite athlete!

I’ll trade all the detained innocent citizens and they can deport Pelosi’s crypt keeper looking ass instead. Fair trade i say, boils and ghouls

  13. >The 27-year-old Giants outfielder was stopped by Customs and Border Protection at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday **because he forgot documents in South Korea**, Pelosi’s office said in a statement shared by multiple news outlets.

It’s a complete non-issue. This would have happened regardless of the country or who was in power.

  14. People can’t fucking read this generation, the clickbait article is driving traffic for those who read the headline.

I too was originally fooled by the headline, but I read articles and when I got to the part where he LEFT HIS PAPERWORK IN SOUTH KOREA, I was like, holy shit the real story is the SPECIAL TREATMENT he got without the required documents.

If I went to another country and left my passport/work visa documents at home in the states, you know what they would do? Refuse fucking entry and I’d be stuck in the fucking terminal trying to figure out a way home, or to get my documents to me.

Like look, fuck ICE and their bullshit, it’s terrible what’s going on in America right now, but this has NOTHING to do with that.

Read the fucking article. This is such a clickbait bullshit

  15. Before people yell about him getting special treatment cause he is a pro athlete. Help with documentation is literally a core job of any reps constituent services departments you or I can have the exact same issue and contact our congressperson to help get this resolved. The only reason this is Pelosi and not any other rep is because the guy lives and works in San Francisco.

Can Nancy “intervene” when non millionaire immigrants get wrongly detained too pls

Lol the spineless Dems show up when some yuppie gets attacked but have been silent about Renee Good being murdered in broad daylight by Jonathon ross and other ice goobers.

  18. He forgot the appropriate documents and Customs and Border Protection stopped him until they could verify everything. This is normal procedure and happens thousands of times a day at every major airport in the world.

  19. I was just waiting to see when the goons would snatch up an athlete just because they have an accent or don’t speak English. Lawmakers can’t intervene in every case and a lot of these gestapo foot-soldiers don’t realize that foreign professional athletes exist in this country. Just unstoppable idiocy.

To all asian-americans who voted for Trump, it’s not just hispanics, it’s you too.
