I don’t see how NATO can speak for Denmark but in any case I hope they don’t give the US anything, even if it is just to placate and of little consequence. Regardless US winded down its other Greenland bases, no? They have always had the option to build more, why give them sovereignty over any land? If they give him anything at all they let him have his way again. It also gives him leave to pursue it later anyway under the basis of controlling that land already.

As far as I can find, nothing has actually been agreed. „Discussion“ does not equal „agreement“. And frankly, if I hear the Trump camp saying they have a „deal“ on anything, I wait to hear the other party confirm that there is in fact a deal. Otherwise, it’s just a lot of hot air.
