      That’s just straight up torture.

      Tear gas/pepper spray have their place and use, but it’s supposed to be dispersed before it’s on people, not applied directly to the sensitive areas of the body (eyes/mucous membranes/etc.) It’s only a matter of time before someone dies from a reaction to having this stuff put directly on their face.

      But that’s a feature for the current administration, not a bug.

      In Marine Corp Non-Lethal course, we’re taught that the Mark 9 pepper spray(mist style) has a minimum safe distance of 3 meters. The Mark 4 is the stronger stream style and has a safe distance of 5 meters
      Any where within 1 meter will most likely cause blindness. Because of something called the Hydraulic needle effect. It’s like they’re stabbing them in the eyes with needles dipped in ghost pepper. This is illegal.
