Ich plane im kommenden Februar eine einwöchige Reise nach Lappland und frage mich, ob meine aktuellen Wanderschuhe für diesen Job geeignet (warm genug) sind. Sie sind von Decathlon und ich glaube, es ist ein älteres Quechua NH500-Modell.
Wir werden einige Wanderungen unternehmen (nicht länger als zwei Stunden, schätze ich) und auch einige Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie eine Schneemobiltour und eine Husky-Schlittenfahrt. Ich denke jedoch, dass unser Reiseveranstalter für diese Aktivitäten spezielle isolierte Overalls anbietet.
Fühle ich mich mit diesen Schuhen/Stiefeln wohl oder sollte ich ein wärmeres Paar kaufen?
Ich lebe in den Niederlanden und die Temperaturen werden hier nicht so kalt sein, daher werden diese Stiefel nur ein paar Mal verwendet.

They seem suitable for walking on city streets, and around the hotel, if it’s not too cold. Not suitable for any serious snow activity or truly cold weather. You might want to check if the tour operator provides actual winter boots for the snowmobile and husky activities?
No. Do NOT attempt to hike anywhere in Lapland in this in February. Get proper winter boots that are warm, knitted socks, probably some ice studs to go with them. Now just please tell me you have proper clothing and know how to layer yourself before you freeze or overheat.
Warm socks should do just fine, I’ve used exact same shoes in the Lapland trips that I use summer, only change is from thin socks to warm weather socks, maybe waterproof too, since the snow will melt too and you don’t want wet and cold socks.
I recommend Gore-Tex lined shoes with at least some padding. If you go out into the wilderness, you will need taller and warmer boots, with snowshoes.
I will also be in Kittalä in February, doing similar things.

No. Decathlon has nice winter boots but not these.
You need winter boots.
Hiking boots soles harden in cold and are ridiculously slippery, it’s a good way to crack your skull.
Check Finnish outdoor shops for winter boots and try to find same online.
