      Currently claiming USA should be paying the least interest.

      And the most laughable moment was when he claimed NATO wouldn’t exist without the US because none of the other countries pay their bills.

      Actually, the part that takes the cake was when he said he was referred to as ‚daddy‘ (I cannot remember, was that the part when he was talking about negotiations between Russia and Ukraine?).

      The way he speaks is simply insufferable, gloating about nonsense, spewing random numbers, and overall just flat out lying.

      I wonder: is nobody facts-checking anymore?
      Because in all of this, the worst part is that there are people who will just believe all this crap as if it was truth itself.

      I mean, it shouldn’t be hard to factually debunk his ranting boast, especially when it comes to economy. Numbers don’t lie, you can’t say you stopped inflation if it’s at 2.7, you can’t throw made-up figures just to impress the audience. Well, yes, apparently you can, but the effect you’ll have is strictly linked to the people wanting to believe rather than DOUBLE CHECKING.

      Yes, but the 1951 treaty already says that the US can build as many military bases on Greenland as they want to.

      Denmark is also open to licensing mineral extraction from Greenland in further amendments to that treaty.

      Yet again this is another example of the ignorance by this administration.

      Well, I mean, it’s in NATO. So, by definition, if a country attacks it, all of nato will come to its defense.

      It never has been protected by just one nation since NATO. That’s the whole point of fucking NATO. Which makes this entire thing so fucking stupid.

      Trump claims he’s taking Greenland because no one can protect it except the US. All of the EU and other NATO countries speak out against it, and vow to defend Greenland if the US attacks, outright destroying the entire premise for why Trump claims the US should have it in the first place.

      And if he does go through with it, it would defeat his whole “national security” angle because Europe will almost certainly kick us out of the military bases there, and will stop trading/sharing intel, etc with us.

      So basically if Trump keeps going on this, it would make everything he points to as the real reason why taking Greenland is necessary way, way worse.
