In einer aktuellen Folge von „What in the World“ auf BBC ging es um Verschwörungstheorien zur Mondlandung und darum, warum jüngere Menschen eher denken, dass sie inszeniert sei.
Folge: „Warum manche Leute behaupten, die Mondlandung sei gefälscht“
13. Januar 2026

I think in an effort to generate clicks we are actively dumbing down the planet.
Sadly, we are building a world where people who are educated in science or engineering or teaching are demonized as “elites” who should be dismissed or attacked. In their frame of mind, anyone who does a thing or understands a thing that you don’t can be dismissed or ignored. People do not like to feel stupid and so they are more apt to change their entire worldview than admit they don’t know something or are wrong. Issac Asimov said it best, and I think it applies all over the world: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‚my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
More than anything this shows how easy it is to manipulate polls and etc.
Not sure how anyone could believe that in the first place, maybe at the time, people were more naive. But when NASAs response to the question “why haven’t we been back” is “we lost the tech and it’s difficult to rebuild it” I think it becomes laughable
i think the moon landing was true
I’m mixed on this one. I could see it happening either way.
It’s not something like 911 that I’m 100% sure is a conspiracy
It was so obviously a hoax
In ’some‘ surveys 😆
Guys, downvote me if u want but like…… it’s not THAT hard to land on the moon. You just have to have enough fuel and deal with a zero air pressure environment. The radiation is present but not enough to kill. Oh by the way there’s still reflective instruments I’ve seen through a telescope on the surface that we left there. I think the 1969 moon landing MIGHT be a lil fishy but even then, the missions in the 70s are extremely well documented.
Total hoax
Only 25%.
Sadly, this is why democracies fail. Lack of critical thinking and logic skills. Lack of ability to reason based on science and logic. When you give everyone in a democracy an equal vote, the assumption is that the majority of citizens can make intelligent decisions. When society turns into Idiocracy, democracy fails.
Only 25% lol
Should be like 90%.
The video is for sure a hoax. Is the landing?
BBC Pedoprotectors!
If the governments of the world keep up with the current day nonsense, then the GP, will start questioning even more government backed lies.
That means 75% of their viewers are still sheep.
The thing I find most frustrating about conspiracy theories like this and flat earth theory, is not that they’re built off pure ignorance but rather that they paint all conspiracy theories as ridiculous and stupid to the general public.
…maybe that’s the real conspiracy. Bad conspiracy theories are gov psyops to discredit good conspiracy theories…
The moon landing is a topic like 9/11. No matter how much evidence is presented there are a ton of people who rush to defend it.
If if wasn’t for space-x, NASA wouldn’t even be able to get to the ISS and back safely today.
It’s hard to believe that they managed to get to the surface of the moon and back multiple times 80 years ago.
The footage are faked for sure, but I think they went there for real. The Germans who had allied themselves with Draco reptilians went there before the US though.
