      Mohamed Bakari Shei entered an Alford Plea, meaning he maintains that he is innocent but pleaded guilty on the basis that the state likely had sufficient evidence to convict him of sexually abusing children in 2017-2019, but maintained his own innocence.

      This was „likely“ in conjunction with a plea deal designed not to force the victims to come into court and testify. Prosecutors also know that sometimes these witnesses can be unreliable in their recollection meaning an increased risk of the perpetrator getting away with it entirely.

      Finally, they note his current age (20 years old) meaning he was aged 13-15 at the time he committed these assaults. So we are already comparing the juvenile penal system to the adult penal system.

      Do I agree with the plea deal, No. Do I have all the information, No. Do I think there is a lot of intentional misrepresentation of the facts, Yes. Bad cases make bad laws. You never use cases like this to determine what is justice and what isn’t, because every answer is a bad one.

      It’s all on purpose to cause divide and conquer. It’s happening in all other countries. The line “ they struggle to adopt to our ways of living”, well don’t let them into other countries then.

      Horrible behaviour is normal in most 3rd world countries but that’s up to their own local government allowing it to be the way.

      Facing and charged arent the same thing. What length was he Facing versus what he got will not be the same. Same as she won’t get max charges. I agree he should have faced more time. But she equally won’t see the max of hers either, though she definitely shouldn’t.
