The problem is that she is punishing the woman for her father’s mistakes. The woman owes her nothing and is still being punished.

Woman jailed for posting revenge porn and refusing to offer contrition.

There are lots of ways to get revenge on your father’s mistress, revenge porn is a bad one.

If she wanted to „shame“ anyone in this instance, it’s the father for not keeping it in his pants. To post nude pictures of someone else without their consent is just downright disgusting.

This warped logic always gets me. Yes lose morals etc.. But this woman owes the family nothing. The dad/husband does. He cheated. If anyone is punished or targeted it should be him.

Yet all the anger and even criminality is directed towards someone, who at worst knowingly slept with a married man. And possibly was unaware of this.

Lol at the mistress saying she can’t believe a woman would do this to another woman.

    > „I’m finding it difficult to believe a woman would do that to another woman,“ the court heard.

This ridiculous „a woman would never…“ perspective again. Women are people and some of them will play any card and take advantage of any situation to get what they want, just like some men will.

    What a crazy story.

Waits 12 years after it happened to do it.

Her mum sends her the nudes to do it.

Gets out of jail and immediately makes TikTok videos about how she’s not sorry and how it all worked out positively for her.

Waiting 12 years to exact „revenge“, why didn’t she and her mum just move on.

So she got help from her mother and sister who are both former police officers. Do we know what happened to them?

The full story is significantly worse than the headline suggests:

    >Eleanor Brown, 26, was jailed for three years after posting naked images of her father’s secret lover on an escort website with the **help of her mum and sister, who are both former police officers**.

    >Her dad, former police officer Geoff Brown, was discovered to be having an affair with his mistress when Eleanor was just 14.

    >But **his daughter waited 12 years before seeking vengeance for her mother, Sarah Brown, who had sent sexual images of the woman to her daughter**.

    (My emphasis).

Obviously revenge porn is bad enough and wrong under any circumstances – but wanting to exact that kind of revenge still *12 years* after the initial affair is unhinged. That her mother and sister assisted makes this look like a campaign of harassment.

  10. Saw this and her video yesterday. It’s horrible. She has no remorse or understand the severity of her actions. She also doesn’t seem to have any ill will towards her father.

This is her father’s mistake. Not the mistress. Punish him. Not her.

He was married. At any point, he could’ve, should’ve backed out and said no.

“I find it hard to believe a woman would do that to another woman” she says after engaging in a affair with a married man 🙄

  13. She’s got that no remorse look in her eyes, but she ia hypnotically beutiful in a way.

I don’t normally support discharges but I feel this is one of those rare cases where an absolute discharge would’ve been the most appropriate sentence. Completely messed up that she’s going to do porridge for this.

    >*^(the woman said that to say she felt „violated“ would have been an „understatement“. „I’m finding it difficult to believe a woman would do that to another woman“)*

I imagine her lover’s wife felt the same way

    Whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Why are so many people in this thread determined to blame a woman for the actions of a man and the choices he made?

She’s disgusting for taking revenge on the woman instead of her scummy father. But who is surprised…

It’s not difficult to understand the blinding rage and sense of betrayal that gripped her after learning of her father’s affair and the hurt it caused her mother. But he was the married one; he was the one who broke his vows. The woman with whom he had an extramarital relationship was unmarried and not bound by those vows.

It’s also possible she didn’t know he was married. Men who carry on affairs often conceal their marital status, revealing it only after emotions or attachments have already formed.

She owes that woman an apology and may need to have an honest conversation with her father to work through what happened and move forward.

    What a tangled web. .

this was wrong, this was bad, why not revenge porn her father too

    ahh yes

  20. Well she did the crime and served the time, so I guess from that point she’s in the clear. She seems to have learned not to commit crime again from what she says, even if she doesn’t regret it.

That said, the apparent incredulity expressed that a woman could do this to another woman strikes me as rather ridiculous. Someone else has pointed out the potential sexism baked into that. But also, is it really so hard to imagine that someone might wish to do something not very nice to someone who broke up their family and no doubt caused a lot of strife?

  21. Christ this is insane. Loads of people have affairs. Just deal with it and move on.

    /Checks notes

Ideally within the first 12 fucking years of it being discovered.

  22. I get where the daughter is coming from…but it’s her dad who is the biggest guilty party in that affair.
