    >Cooper asked the senator if European leaders could “de-escalate” and “reason with the president” over his continued threats too take over Greenland.

    >“No, and I’ve been very clear. He is a madman. He is insane. He’s only thinking about himself,” Gallego said.

    >“You really think he’s insane?” Cooper asked.

    >“Yes! I’m sorry, where are we at this moment where we don’t understand what’s happening in this country?” Gallego answered. “The man is threatening war against a NATO ally and we’re all thinking this is rational. Let’s accept what’s happening here. He is not rational right now. He is destroying our world reputation, potentially our economic opportunity, economic mighty power around the world because he is being petty.”

    >“None of this is rational. Everyone needs to stop pretending this is rational,” Gallego continued.

  2. He is a madman but unfortunately the US gave the republicans Unchecked power since they hold the majority in all levels of government. America is marching straight into war and no one is going to do anything about it

Probably why every single billionaire built huge bunkers over the past decade. They knew this was coming

So is he just gonna post on Twitter his thoughts and not do anything like what democrats usually do?

He is completely out of control. He no longer feels accountable to anyone and isn’t even hiding his disdain for the working class and international community. The longer we wait to act against him the more unhinged he will become.

Do not attribute his actions to insanity. They should be attributed to Republicanism.

Everyone. It is terrible that people are going missing from our streets. It is heartwarming to see the action of Minnesotans standing up for their neighbors, and protesting ICE.

This is the wrong fight. This stuff exists because of one group only, one small group. That group is the GOP in the house and senate.

These people need to be protested and shut down 24/7. No republican should be able to take a dump without 50 people standing outside the stall letting them know their shit would smell better if they moved to impeach.

There is a very small group they needs to be influenced to get us out of this. That is where the focus needs to be.

He’s been empowered by Democratic Senators like Catherine Cortez-Masto (NV) who rolled over to let them have whatever they want.

  8. Republican Senators: Trump is nuts

Americans: Get rid of him then!

Republican Senators: What?!? Get rid of the most important President of all Presidents?!?

Time: Guess it’s FAFO time for Republicans

Rest of the World: Let’s just stop paying attention to America and just trade among ourselves, shall we? We all know that China is now the ultimate Superpower now that America has tapped out

Putin: Hey China, Imma do USSR again, wanna join?

It’s surreal to watch America squander nearly a century of soft power in less than a decade.

It’s not so much Trump that is insane but that the society and system can do little to check or regulate such a person.

Listening to the Canadian PM’s speech at Davos today, I was in disbelief that America simply walked away from its role as global leader.

See? It’s not that hard to say what everyone has been afraid to say. Will Trump respond and do something like cut federal funding to the state? Probably. He’s so shallow and pathetic, it’s easy to figure out.

Now the rest of them need to start saying it while the Republicans go hide in their corners. The more noise like this the better.

  11. I’m not entirely sure but as far as I recall. Wasn’t there a guideline somewhere on how to deal with tyrants?

  12. Dismal-Bullfrog-7851 on

People are rightfully concerned about Trump’s mental state and the need for independent assessments. The fear that he’s trying to trigger unrest to justify arresting political opponents is a valid worry given recent events. While calling him out is important, the reality is that Democrats need control of both the House and Senate to actually take meaningful action. Without that control, their options are limited despite the urgency of the situation. The frustration with the current political gridlock is palpable among those commenting.

  13. Man … All those underground bunkers they made, they knew it was coming. They saw the signs

  14. Vast_Bookkeeper_4730 on

Don’t seam to understand your in a bunker no sailing no sun no tropical resort you’re in a bunker no money no party’s no influence in a bunker he won’t do that but what if you are wrong

  15. I will never see the media the same way again after watching them fucking sanewash Trump for years.

    „YoU ReALLy thINk hE’s InSAnE??“

YES, ANDERSON, YES. HE’S FUCKING NUTS. CAN WE STOP ACTING LIKE THIS IS FUCKING NORMAL IN ANY WAY?

  16. SandSpecialist2523 on

And yet, would he vote to impeach him? If not, he is knowingly commiting treason.

  17. Honestly unless a Republican congressman says this, it’s not newsworthy. Even then it’s not really. “SLAMMING Trump” isn’t doing anything.

  18. Declare a general strike in two weeks unless he resigns. Just enough time for Republicans to possibly coalesce for the good of the nation. Otherwise, buckle up. There appear to be no red lines so loading up for midterms no longer seems like an option…

I saved a bunch of these types of quotes from his 1st term administration. They only spoke up when it was too late.
    ___

    >**Trump’s Former Joint Chief of Staff and retired General Mark Miley**:
    >
    >“We have got to stop him!” Milley said. “You have got to stop him!” By “you” he meant the press broadly. “He is the most dangerous person ever. I had suspicions when I talked to you about his mental decline and so forth, but now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is the most dangerous person to this country.” His eyes darted around the room filled with 200 guests of the Cohen Group, a global business consulting firm headed by former defense secretary William Cohen. Cohen and former defense secretary James Mattis spoke at the reception.
    >
    >“A fascist to the core!” Milley repeated to me.

Standby for the late night incoherent rage social media post directed at the Arizona Senator.

Wow he didn’t have you at pedo, he didn’t have you at criminal x34, you waited until Greenland to feel this way

  22. JamieGordon8921 on

Mr. Arizona Senator.. if that’s the case then DO SOMETHING about it!

  23. Nobody needs to be surprised or say this is unexpected. This is exactly what was warned about. It was crystal clear. And yet some people thought it was not serious enough to go vote because the polls looked good or whatever.
