I’m not even sure if Salt Lake County is 50%+ Mormon now, let alone in 2100.

No source, results which don’t look real…is this another AI map?

I can say for the Amish they tend to not always stay in the same county. The first born inherits the farm so all other sons have to go out and find new farm land to buy. Here in Lancaster, what used to be the Amish capital, some of the land got too expensive because the county/ city has really boomed in population so much of the land is being developed. Which has made Amish families move out to find more affordable farms.

Only a small minority of the country will be religious by 2100. This map is ridiculous.

I doubt the Mormon population in Northern Arizona will surpass that of Maricopa county.

Phoenix is a Mormon mecca in the southwest. Many temples/schools are scattered throughout the valley. I don’t see Navajo county with cities like Flagstaff being able to match that.

What happens when they collide in the middle? Do we get brown? Or do they vaporize? Cancel? What happens if a Morman marries an Amish? Is it like 2x kids squared?

I’m pretty sure there’s a decent size Amish population in Sarasota, Florida which is cut off from the bottom of this map

I had no idea there was a substantial number of Amish people in Texas.

We will build a Zion in the west. Millions shall know brother Joseph again!

  11. They’ve been outbreeding the rest of the country for a very long time and it hasn’t changed much so I wouldn’t be surprised if this projection is an overestimate.

  12. Then add in the hasidim in NY/NJ and you’ve got all the sects that teach their kids to exploit others and breed.

Amish people have some severe medical stuff in their communities because of “loose inbreeding”. One of my close friend’s uncles, who married into the family, was born amish, gave it up and has/had a heart issue. Him and his wife actually didn’t have kids because of it!

My baby weighed 10 pounds at birth and 17 at age 1. He is projected to weigh more than the sun by 18
