      Worked with a number of Venezuelan girls in Melbourne, there are definitely on the more beautiful side. Must be the genes.
      Maybe theres a Jean’s company wanting to do an ad about genes.

      Genuine question, but does the general public in your country care about Miss Universe? I feel like us in Spain don’t really give a fuck. We’re more excited about Eurovision (tho we’re not competing this time) and the World Cup.

      I was in Cancun almost thirty years ago, the club we were at was having a contest. The Venezuelan women were some of the hottest women I’ve ever seen.

      Because they care. Yes, there are beautiful women there. There are beautiful women all around the world. But down here in Argentina we’ve got amazing women too, and we don’t even know that the pageant still exists, we don’t know when it is, we don’t know who our miss is, I’m sure we don’t even know we had 3 winners.

      Seconding a point from another commenter saying that some Latin American countries take beauty pageants very seriously and resource them like a sport

      Do note, though, that the data in the map is almost entirely inaccurate. If we’re talking winners of the Miss Universe pageant, the US has 9 winners, Venezuela has 7, India has 3, the Philippines has 4, etc.

      1) there’s a big industry about it in the country so big that Miss Venezuela used to be called the Venezuelan Superbowl, the most watched show of the year.

      2) Mestizaje made people catch best and worst elements from different races, in the case of Venezuela 40-60% is mixed with a lot of Europeans, African and Indigenous traits and a touch of Middle Eastern and Asian characteristics

      This isn’t correct, Panama had a miss universe a few decades ago. I remember it was all most people spoke of for weeks back then.

      If Iran were allowed to compete they’d win every year. Persian women are ridiculously hot

      This is completely incorrect, as a Puerto Rican we only have 5 miss universe tittle, India has 3 crowns etc. This information is mostly incorrect with other countries
