He was literally mumbling to himself looking down at the potium reading from a bitch and complain list, then he would switch over and read from the brag list of his fake achievements. Never engaged the press for as long as I could watch without throwing up. Pathetic excuse for a president.

I have seen him talk some shit, but this was 100% dementia in action. Watching a man’s mental health fall apart live. Anyone else and it would have been heartbreaking.
He used 3 completely different figures for the same achievement in about 3 minutes and then forgot what he was talking about anyway.

The guy has never been coherent. He is not a good speaker at all. If you have ever read any of his speeches on paper, it is total nonsense. It’s why the stupid people like him because he talks like them.
He used to be able to wing it for an hour and a half. Even if it was a rambling word salad, it was just coherent enough for his followers to build their own adventure out of the slop. Now he can’t freestyle with any idea and it’s less a ramble than a shamble.
He’ll be put out to pasture in the next year or so, either by nature’s grace or being removal from office.

Prediction: Vance and co. are using Trump as a demented instrument to bring America to the brink and will either invoke the 25th or let him die before America goes over the cliff. Vance then gets to ratchet down the craziness while receiving almost universal support domestically and internationally because anything he does will be a relief relative to this madness, securing his leadership though the next election while he implements the agenda of his oligarch handlers.
This was one of the most mentally deranged speeches he’s ever done… Which says a lot.
The start was incredible – 20 minutes of holding up cards and reading to himself. Quarter of an hour in he states „you’re not bored.“ and continues on.
The complete drivel and absence from reality over almost 2 hours, with the vocabulary of a 7 year old. Incredible that Americans think this was normal.

Listening to that rambling mess was genuinely disturbing. He spent way too much time holding up mugshots while ranting about immigrants, then pivoted to bizarre tangents like binder clips. The fact that journalists just laughed along instead of calling out his obvious lies shows how broken our media has become. We’re watching a deeply unfit man who can’t even form coherent sentences get treated like a serious candidate while he spreads racist nonsense and made-up statistics. This country is in serious trouble when someone this deranged can command such attention without any accountability for his constant stream of falsehoods.
I wish a reporter would nuke their current career and just stand up and yell how fucking stupid this is and walk out.
It was rough even by his standards. He can’t stay on topic hardly at all, can barely form cogent sentences. He also said very little of any substance. Mostly just riffing around personal grievances and ways he feels slighted or what he thinks is good or bad. Lots of extra filler words and stumbling „ums“ and „you knows“.
Besides all that, he just seemed hollow. Mostly dull muted speaking that just sort of droned along punctuated by occasional moments of perking up. Often sounded nearly out of breath, slurred words, gasps and at times seemed like his droopy post-stroke right side was fighting him.

undeniably in poor shape and it has gotten worse.
I watched this. It’s actually pretty scary because it’s really evident he’s in cognitive free fall. Did anyone catch the bit about the clamp on the paper almost snapping his finger? I’m watching him start rambling incoherently about this large plastic clip and feeling this existential dread as I’m reminded this idiot is considering going to war with Greenland and, consequently, NATO.
This isn’t a snarky talking point anymore. Congress and the VP really do need to use the 25th Amendment to remove him. The danger his remaining in power represents is incalculable.
