  1. Y’all US history is rife with this shit. This isn’t new, this is just a return to form.

  2. CouchCorrespondent on

Every day he finds another way to put the citizens of the United States in harm’s way…on purpose.

He and the people who support him have some SERIOUS mental issues.

  3. I don’t think Trump makes it to 2027. Whether by the 25th or other means. His brain is mush and gets worse every day.

  4. Yes, remove Trump then overturn Citizens United via constitutional amendment.

  5. Congress looking to Trump’s cabinet to do something the constitution specifically gives Congress the power to do is beyond pathetic.

  6. The 25th Amendment is almost useless for the current situation. It has an even higher vote threshold than impeachment and removal, and it doesn’t even really remove the President from office if it’s successful. He’d still be sitting in the White House causing problems.

He absolutely is mentally ill. If you compare his speaking from his first term to his second, he has absolutely lost it. If you add on the fact that he was already one of the stupidest people to ever hold office, you have an extremely dangerous person in charge of the most powerful military on earth.

He was mentally ill when the American people elected him. If the plurality of people who bother to show up want the mentally ill guy, why then should the mental illness disqualify him from office?

Personally, I’ve voted against the GOP in basically every instance where I have been eligible to vote since the Shrub took us into a bloody, expensive, and pointless war in Iraq in order to make sure Dick Cheney’s oil cronies had access to Iraq’s oil reserves. But apparently a substantial chunk of the country prefers these chuckleheads no matter how often these chuckleheads throw them under the bus. And I’m getting really tired of railing against their self-destructive tendencies to so little avail.

Every single fucking day they should repeat this. Every, single, fucking, day. They should walk to the capital with a drum following them chanting how mentally sick he is. Draw every single ear and eyeball, to this obvious and dangerous issue.

  10. I don’t understand how there isn’t more serious fighting going on. Feels like Congress is rolling over and the amount of bootlickers happily sitting there while their country is destroyed is truly mind boggling.

The dems are milquetoast and the GOP are slobbering goons.

  11. This feels like one of those moments where someone on TV blurts the thing everyone’s been thinking but didn’t say out loud.

  12. Everyone in the GOP knows Trump is both not well and doing untold and immeasurable damage to the country that will extend far beyond his term.

But they’re straight up terrified of standing up to him – because they’ll get primaried out and MAGA may turn violent, as seen on Jan 6 and MTG.

IF the Dems reclaim the House this November, I expect more of them will turn against Trump in order to capitalize on the potential goodwill from the tides turning against MAGA

Follow this for a second, a “what if” scenario. The Project 26 masterminds, formerly of Project 25 fame, want Trump, who won’t resign and quite possibly may push for a third term, out and want Vance to spearhead their takeover heading into ‘28. Trump is an embarrassment and Vance will steamroll their agenda without all, or at least far less of the Mar-a-lago buffoonery, which they see as actively working to push the American people away (which it is, Trumps manic dementia is best weapon Democrats have!) . They want Vance, who’s been cultivated for this position, but they need Trumps populace cult followers to support Vance against a ‘28 Democratic or third party contender, which they won’t do if they see the GOP as the ones getting rid of Trump. So they let Trump be Trump in hopes the Democrats along with some sacrificable republicans will impeach, which will elevate the “intelligent” members of the Regime while simultaneously martyring Trump in the eyes of his base, securing the “revenge against the radical left” support for Vance. It feels like impeachment is playing right into the Regime leaderships hands. Giving them what they want and securing indefinite control moving forward. Just a thought, but would it not be politically better to keep Trump where he is, stonewalling and embarrassing him at every turn through policy and protest until he drives his and the Regimes support deeply into the ground? Anyway, just a thought. However it turns out, I do believe, eventually, Democracy and the Constitution will prevail. Keep your cameras running and your powder dry! 🇺🇸

  14. I can’t help but think, if he does start some big war the countless innocents who will fight and die for it. People losing their children and grandchildren becuase of Donald trumps insatiable greed. Saddest shit ever. He should have been put in prison immediately after the January 6th shit, but no. Let’s make him president again and see what he does this time.

  15. el_dadarino on

He has opened the way for China to assume our place on the world stage. I can’t think of any way anyone could think his actions benefit anyone in this country

  16. Every single member of Congress knows this and they have a solution, it’s called impeachment. The 25th amendment won’t be used by Trump’s sycophantic appointments.

  17. Upstairs-Egg on

I don’t think he’s mentally ill, I think he’s stupid as hell after his untreated syphilis ate away at his brain. The man is honest to god just dumb as a bag of bricks.

  18. Wake me up when there are more than a few Republicans not seeking re-election who are saying this. Otherwise it doesn’t matter.

  19. thingsorfreedom on

Why is it only one? This action should lead to a loss of support in Congress at a level that would put him in danger of being impeached.

Forget attacking Trump over this. Attack the Senators and members of Congress who do not oppose this. Make them fear being voted out. Then they will put pressure on the White House to stop the insanity or they will have to do something, be it impeach Pete Hegseth and a host of others, stall the Senate confirmations, or pass embarrassing bills reining in Presidential powers.

  20. I_might_be_weasel on

Then she should be calling for impeachment as that is something actually within the power of her branch of the government.

  21. SpongeSlobb on

I don’t care what the comments say. We have to try everything to remove this man from power. Only time can tell how much damage he has already done to America, I.e. the ballooning deficit, collapse of American soft power, tariffs pushing business away from America. If he keeps going down this path, we could lose our allies, collapse the dollar with low interest rates, and who knows what else.

We are fucked. And every additional day we allow this man to lead this country we are fucking ourselves even harder.

  22. CurrentlyLucid on

It really is a mercy to relieve him of duty, he is obviously overwhelmed.

  23. Sorry bruh, gotta eat another year of this bullshit till you get President JD.

  24. Do something instead of all this blah, blah, blah…..What a tons of stupidity from Congress….

  25. 25th is never going to happen. It’s another waste of time, they need to impeach.

  26. Everybody keeps “urging” and “pushing for” the 25th amendment solution. Why don’t they actually invoke it?
