    > He went on to credit Nicholson with being a huge inspiration behind his take on Loki when first stepping into the role. “I think, probably, when I came to play Loki for the first film, I consciously carried Jack Nicholson in mind,” he added.

    Loki was a good villain. Had a self-righteous , bitter , but human reason for being the way he is, he just took it too far. Jealous younger brother, not by birth, of an authoritarian ruler, who took him in partly as a power political play.

    And he did try to redeem himself.
