That means he’s about to. Otherwise he’d be saying that he has to.

  2. Consistent-Count-890 on

He won’t say, but he made his statement on the matter already quite clear, so no need to guess what he thinks.

  3. He didn’t say no.
It doesn’t matter what he said, because the right and only answer was „no“.
Anything else might as well be a yes.

My dog also won’t tell me that he’ll eat chocolate unattended, but I don’t base my actions off of what he won’t tell me.

  5. Using military force would only force foreign countries to sell off US Bonds, collapsing the US economy.

Using military force on NATO allies would be economic suicide.

  6. Why bother even asking? He will lie/contradict himself/mumble about something else/lie again.

  7. Agent-Adept on

Let’s hope he does. Then, he will violate the NATO Treaty and he as Commander in Chief of our military would be subject to military prosecution for war crimes. The immunity granted by the Supreme Court would not apply because it is a crime for violating an international treaty. It is also not a crime governed by the International Criminal Court. He would be tried in a military tribunal here in the United States. This would not be a military coup. The military would not be taking control of the country. It would a military trial for attacking a NATO country. Trump would go to prison if found guilty.

    Donald Trump doesn’t acknowledge consent.

He raped children, he raped women, he steals from charity, and he steals from Americans.

He only acts in self interest. He’s a pathetic loser who shits himself every day.

IMO Trump is using the threat of force to compel a sale of Greenland. If you look at Trump’s business history he never used war like tactics within business, but he would use intimidation to lock people into bad contracts or use the threat of lawsuits to get people to settle for less than they were owed.

    >Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America

What a babbling idiot. Can he name those 8 wars he stopped? Someone put Grandpa in a home already

  11. Swimming_East7508 on

Of course he can’t confirm. He’s waiting for further instructions from his Russian handler.

  12. epicredditdude1 on

Does it even matter what he says? The dude is notoriously dishonest and he’s so erratic and unpredictable I think even if he was telling the truth he could change his mind the next day anyway.

  13. Jesus Christ, Americans impeach this idiot.

Why is this deemed acceptable at all. He’s literally calling for the fall of the western world (with America included) by posturing about this.

    The apathy drives me insane.

At this point I don’t think he knows what would happen if he tried to forcefully take Greenland. Please remove him from office. I don’t want to wake up and learn WW3 has started.

  15. The amount of damage that 330 million people are unleashing on their own countries power and standing in the world is absolutely astonishing. And they’re following the village idiot to get it done.

What exactly does this man have to do to get Americans to stop cooperating? He’s clearly an antagonistic force to your country and he’s actively trying to destroy it and it’s standing, all while he’s operating out in the open and in plain sight.

He’s not only going to be seen as the worst president in American history in the future, but it’s going to absolutely tar and feather the generation that is sitting idly and letting it happen.

  16. Gammelpreiss on

man, by now Iost every bit of respect for the american presidency, the american system in general and the US population as a whole.

what a joke country. some central african dictartoship is run more competently.

  17. Voodoo_Masta on

Previously he said he *would* use force, so being noncommittal about it is kind of an upgrade. Maybe this is early stages of another TACO. Let’s hope…

  18. As positive a spin as I can bring myself to make:

He dies this vecause he really really wants to, but knows that he can’t. I’m sure its been made clear to him by the party, if he rolls into Greenland, all bets are off, and he will be removed. But he’s a horrible and really bad sales guy, and they find the most success when they stay vague. So that they CAN say „look, see, promise kept…“, but also if it goes wrong be able to say „I never REALLY promised you that“.

Now – I have little if any faith in that. He could go full rogue and then we’re off and running. But I DO believe that as much as he wants to – is DESPERATE to – and Putin is likely pushing for it – he won’t, because he knows he really can’t. (He PHYSICALLY and materially can … but still).

When Roman Emperors started to go off the rails, the Praetorian Guards took care of it…

    Hopefully…

  20. Frosty_Ad_8048 on

Of course he won’t. Blooming senile old incontinent pedo.

I just feel like he knows he’s going to die soon and wants to be remembered-which he will as the stupidest elected president ever.

You’ll have to go some to beat this mess, America

  21. DividedState on

Sell all US bonds, crash the dollar and fucking start taxing and fining American companies as well as billionaires based on their based on their profit statement, like you would fine normal people on their earnings per day (Tagessatze)

  22. Well now we all know it’s not a national security issue. It now a national hurt feelings issue. All this is tied to not receiving A Nobel Peace Prize.
The military needs to understand their actions again Greenland is to resolve hurt feelings.

  23. Agreeable_Branch007 on

Please do. We want to annihilate you back. Starting with dumping the US Treasury stuff. FaFo

  24. Zealousideal-Peach44 on

Trump threatens war because he did not receive the Peace Nobel Prize.

Just for this, he deserves the „Clown of the Year“ prize…

  25. EpicSombreroMan on

This is where the military needs to draw the line about their oath to the constitution and to ensure they do not partake in illegal orders.

  26. The fact that this person is still in power speaks volumes about average Americans.

  27. If Trump thought he could, he wouldn’t be threatening tarrifs on the EU.

  28. Darthplagueis13 on

Not super surprised tbh – Trump wants it to remain ambiguous because if people think he would use force, that makes his threats against Greenland and the European allies more intimidating, but at the same time, he is probably vaguely aware that the prospect of an entirely unnecessary military conflict with the potential to fundamentally break NATO is not super popular at home, not even among the political right, so by keeping vague about it, he’s hoping to eat his cake and have it, too.

  29. Fearless-Pea-2338 on

If we put our men on the ground in a forceful attempt to take Greenland, it is a moral, righteous, and just cause for European forces to put our boys in the dirt
