      I was wondering if this would be raised. Scotland haven’t qualified for 28 years, there is zero chance we are not going, even better if some countries boycott, we might finally get out the group stage

      I don’t think thats the way forward, but it would be absolutely hilarious for Scotland to reach their first World Cup in 28 years only to boycott it because a bloke who owns a bunch of Scottish golf courses and likes to point out his Mother was Scottish is throwing hissy fits across the world.

      I’m not joking when I say the USA would literally need to be actively invading Greenland and be at war with NATO for the boycott to be *considered.* FAs and Politicians have absolutely no spine when it comes to FIFA, they will and do bend so far over backwards for them it is absurd. Like exempting fifa officials from any laws, having to pay 0 tax, changing (or ignoring) laws to suit FIFA during World Cups – you name it.

      Just remember last time around at the Qatar WC the FA *asked* FIFA if they could wear the rainbow armbads & laces *in protest* of FIFA banning them cause Qatar is a homophobic shithole.. obviously this request to protest was denied.

      Like „can we pls wear these minor colourful things in protest of homophobia pls“ „No.“ „oh ok then sorry stupid of us to ask sorry“

      Should just get used to World Cups being in corrupt problem countries.

      England reckon they can win this World Cup. They wouldn’t boycott it unless Trump declared war on the UK.

      But from a moral standpoint, no one should be going to the US for anything at the moment. Also from a safety standpoint. I wouldn’t put it past ICE to attack fans on their way to games.

      If we didn’t boycott Russia and Qatar ( or even ourselves during the Iraq invasion years) then I can’t see why the USA would be any different

      Fans have already spent thousands on tickets, travel and accommodation, pulling out now just shafts them.

      I don’t see any European nation traveling there if they do indeed invade Denmark. If that doesn’t happen though, all will go.

      Definitely in order. We have to draw the line. It’s become a joke anyway. Qatar hosted last time, Saudi Arabia after USA. Money grabbing clown show at FIFA. Let’s do Euros every 2 years until they actually reform.

      I think we should, but it’ll never happen.

      England think they have a shot, so won’t miss a chance to lose in the semis.

      Scotland *just* got back in, they aren’t missing it.

      Realistically there needs to be a mass European/international boycott, where *everyone* boycotts. But a) that’s not really fair on Canada and Mexico, and b) never gonna happen.

      If by some miracle it did you just know the US would crown themselves the winners, and they’d be a 1000x worse than English fans still harping about a win from over half a century ago.

      Boycott the world cup and have the England players do a tour of the country meeting young fans, participating in local matches and supporting grass routes football.

      Nope. This Greenland nonsense has nothing to do with the World Cup. It would be down to the players and there’s no way they’d boycott.
