    > Stephen Miller Says MN Authorities Ordered to ‘Stand Down and Surrender’ to Federal Officers as Anti-ICE Protests Intensify

    > President Donald Trump’s top aide, Stephen Miller, shockingly declared that local and state law enforcement have been ordered to “stand down and surrender” as anti-ICE protests continue to grip the state.

    > In a social media post late Sunday night, Miller said, “Only federal officers are upholding the law.”

    >He added: “Local and state police have been ordered to stand down and surrender.”

    > Miller’s post came in response to New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, who wrote that “local cops have gone AWOL” earlier Sunday.

    > Miller’s wild remark came days after he called the anti-ICE protestors in Minnesota “an insurgency” as Trump threatened to use the Insurrection Act to use the military against U.S. citizens in the Gopher State.

    > Appearing on The Charlie Kirk Show Thursday, Miller said, “You only have to read their own words and hear their own words and judge their own conduct to understand that this is clearly an insurgency against the federal government. They are describing the federal government as an occupying force. Just think about that for a second.”

Go fuck yourself pee wee German! I would call this mofo dollar tree Voldemort, but that would be insulting Voldemort.

  3. I hate this guy so much. Him being anything more than a stock dude at Walmart is a travesty of justice.

When this all ends, and it will, it will bring me great joy reading headlines about US agents hunting down Stephen Miller, as he tries to hide out in some small village in Argentina.

    This damn administration…

  6. So much treading. So very much tyrannical government doing alot of treading. 2A… this is what it was written for. Where are the libertarians? Hiding?

  7. > “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

It’s a civil war. Americans just haven’t acknowledged this reality yet.

  9. The people who have spent the last 30 years loudly proclaiming themselves to be the most ardent believers in freedom and liberty, the „real Americans“ who would rise up against the slightest whiff of tyranny… are falling over themselves to grovel at the feet of people telling them to „comply or die“, telling communities to „surrender“ to armed agents of the federal government because they have ultimate authority, and pushing the state’s obvious bullshit lies about the murder of Renee Good in spite of video evidence and what their own lying eyes tell them.

The right wing media ecosystem has turned millions of Americans into good little authoritarian subjects.

  10. Every Democrat needs to refer to Naziferatu here as „the real/acting president.“ Just mock the TACO for napping and putting fake gold shit all over the White House while „President Miller“ actually runs the show.

LOL I was checking the spelling of „Naziferatu“ and someone named Crystal Benton has a song with that title about the cueball piglet.

    Party of states‘ rights btw.

I wonder how the cops feel being pushed around like that.

This dude has zero business being near the levers of power.  He’s a goddamn lunatic.

  13. They’re too stupid to realize this but one of the many dangers for this admin in this is how hollow a lot of their threats can feel.

    Stand down “or what?”

    Surrender “or what?”

Barring them shooting people in the street or arresting the police chief how can they escalate.

I know it doesn’t feel that way but legitimacy and fear are currencies and Trump is burning through them

  14. Please note:

The so-called ’supremacy clause‘ only applies where state and federal laws *conflict.*

It is not the blanket, get-out-of-jail free card for the feds to pillage the states that Pee-wee German here imagines.

It’s time for states to step up and protect their citizens.

  15. This is civil war. Make no mistake. Democracy has been lost. The fight now is if it can be regained.

I mean, I don’t exactly have a lot of experience in the tin pot fascist/Nazi thing, but isn’t it generally a bad idea for a fascist government to antagonize a notoriously militarized police force with a strong union that closes ranks to protect their own (for better or worse)?

This is the exact thing conservatives worried about for decades, that they now support

Stephen Miller should have been an abortion there is nothing good about who he is or what he does.

Actual cops surrender to an authority who has a very narrow scope and has no authority over citizens or any other law enforcement? Sure… that makes total sense.
And not to mention they are mostly criminals themselves and poorly trained last minute hires.

  21. LemurKing2019 on

Don’t worry. All of those 2nd amendment patriots that are always worried about big government telling them what to do are going to stand up against this. …. Any minute now. …

I don’t want to hear any Republican talk about small government or states rights ever again.
