My only issue with the prevoyance vielleisse schemes are the investment limits

It would be beneficial if they’d change the rules for the first point by e.g. creating something like investment savings accounts.

Obviously it seems somewhat fair that one gets taxed if you get tax benefits when paying into the scheme. Maybe a lower flat tax would make sense

That being said, I’d be much more at ease if they provide long term visibility when it comes to capital gains exemptions (can be limited to a maximum amount) so to provide stability for those setting cash aside

My main issue with the voluntary pension account is that I have no control over what my savings are invested into. Returns are much lower than if I was in full control, even after considering the tax benefits. Thinking of cancelling the account for that reason.

The ones I have been offered over the years were a scam: very high fees, poor and very limited choice of investment funds with high fees…. It was clear to me that they were a very good deal, only for the companies offering them.
As a result, I believe there are lots of things that could be done to make the third pillar more attractive before giving the scammers more ammunition to increase their business at the cost of reducing taxes, that at the end of the day we all will have to pay one way or another.
