  1. Starmer should consider this an opportunity.

UK Public opnion is swinging against the US. If Starmer swings with it, he could rescue Labour from their poor position at the polls. Make himself the main opposition to Trump’s Reform Party.

We dont need another Chamberlain. We have tried playing super nice to him, you could argue it was the smarter choice to at least try that. We are done with that. Starmer either comes out strong or he has to resign.

  3. Come on Starmer mate, surely you can take a harder line than this. Just once I’d like him to give it the big man rhetoric, even if it’s completely toothless.

  4. Step 1: Create a NATO peace prize

Step 2: Give it to the leader of Greenland

Step 3: Have leader of Greenland regift it to Trump.

  5. 560 days in to Starmer’s leadership, and we’re seeing initial signs of him growing a backbone. Labour supporters might be hoping he’ll grow a personality and set of principals before the upcoming local elections, but I wouldn’t count on it.

  6. Great that a line in the sand is emerging — perhaps Republicans and Democrats would do well to intervene in strong and absolute terms to this ill president.

But also…. EU/UK/Canada should make clear it has nothing to do with security in the Arctic and everything to do with his bloated moronic ego.

    We don’t care if it’s „wrong“, „absurd“. It’s bullshit, it’s treason, it’s aggression.

    Call it like it is.

You know you can renegotiate the terms of US presence and military assets on your soil, right?

You have more leverage than you think.

I can’t wait to get to the winning part of trumps presidency lol it’s coming,,, right?!

  10. I sincerely hope this is the start of our government realising trying to appease Trump will not work. The second state visit was controversial at the time and looking worse by the day.

  11. So far we’ve gotten „unacceptable“, „inappropriate“ and „completely wrong“ in response to this from European leaders. Any that I am missing?

    Wrong is a weak word.

Trump is trying to bully the world. Only the ones that stand strong will win against the little titty-baby.

Doesn’t matter what the negative outcomes are, as bending over just makes you his bitch forever and he will absolutely take everything given half a chance.

Stop the madness, stop all trade, move it elsewhere, ignore the whiny sad little man. Its the only sensible way

  13. My nephew asked me does this mean future call of duty games will make the US the enemy

  14. There’s a shortage of homes in the uk.. there’s a lot of homes occupied by American air force personnel who man the many bases around the country. Be a shame if they were all told to fuck off! it’s a long flight American pilots will have to make to defend itself in future conflicts..

Both E. Jean Carroll and Greenland said „NO!“ to Trump, but he didn’t care. „And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab ‚em by the pussy. You can do anything.“

Does no one see this bigger plan? The SCOTUS is to rule on Trump’s tariff legalities Tuesday…Trump has made it publicly known he „thinks“ that if the court rules that his tariffs are illegal it would be disastrous for the economy… He does some really outlandish tariff shit for a goal he knows only a small percentage of Americans agree with… The Justice’s in SCOTUS all watch the news and know all of this…. He wants them to rule the tariffs illegal so he can do a large number of things like: 1)Destroy the economy here because we would have to pay them back 2) Many of his friends/donors in large businesses that charged people the tariffs will get reimbursed and they will say it’s too complicated to locate and reimburse every customer they charged them to, so profit made. 3) Also, he and the VP have ties with companies that were buying tariff debt at a fraction of what they will receive when they are lifted and reimbursed. It’s all a giant grift to make you believe he doesn’t really want what it is he really wants, ya dig?

  17. Starmer has been very controlled in his responses to Trump madness up to this point, which I understand because he was protecting our trade agreement knowing what an unpredictable narcissist Trump has proven himself to be. Surely now it’s gloves off time. Properly tax American companies trading in the UK (I’m looking at you Amazon, McDonald’s and others) Trump attempting to punish Germany and France affects the whole EU. Surely the whole EU and UK can stand against him in a united front. We’re more powerful as a unit instead of individual country responses. I have done my bit, haven’t ordered from Amazon for a whole year now or purchased any American goods for that matter nor have I visited America as a tourist. My husband laughed because I said a while ago I am definitely not buying a Tesla even if it’s out of my price range! But imagine if all UK citizens boycotted American goods like Canada have done.
