  1. This is like a rapist defending himself by saying „she was asking for it“.

so that means the 99% can just take the resources of the 1%?

I’m pretty sure they can’t defend themselves against 99% of the population…

Trump is ending democracy and trying to create a “might equals right” government.

Anyone in Congress who does not move to impeach Trump is complicit.

  4. says the guy literally hiding on a Military Base cause he can’t defend himself

Like your neighbours house? He is weak and old? Well, just go over and get it! Really nice country you guys have there.

It’s not my fault I raped a child! If you can’t defend yourself, you deserve to be molested!-Trump, probably

Greenland falls under the umbrella of the former NATO alliance, so of course it could be defended.

  8. I sure hope so every country hosting American base is listening and thinking really hard why allow it any further.

It’s time for every traditional ally of the US to start building up their military. In a might makes right world, you’d better be the guy holding the bigger stick- or at least a stick big enough to bloody the guy who has eyes on your stuff.

It’s terrible that after a century of precedent of international law we’re being dragged back into this nonsense but it does no good to complain about it. The US is on the warpath and by the looks of it that’s not likely to change. Europe must band together and be ready.

That is actually an insane argument to make.

Imagine if NATO treated its alliances under this assumption. Each country would have to bolster defenses of all territories they are responsible for against adversaries AND allies. This would make the alliances worthless.

  11. Cool so we can rob old ladies of their money and possessions now since they can’t defend themselves.

  12. Defend it from whom?  Right now the US is the only country making threats on its sovereignty

I will never forgive the Americans who voted for this and the ones who didn’t vote. Ghouls.

  14. Under this rationale any country that could be defeated by the U.S. military can have their territory taken.

This is nakedly “might equals right.” It’s the literal definition of fascism.

  15. Is this why Stephen Miller lives on a military base? He couldn’t defend his home

Well, it was a good 80 years of rules based international order.

  17. So his position is Putin was right to invade Ukraine?  We now support dictators?

    This is so fucked up.

    Wake up America.

Sounds like something rapists say about their victims.

    Stop resisting.

Just lay back and take it, it will be easier for you.
