Also wollte ich fragen:

I was there!
I was 18. Just a pup
I worked on the lighting crew for it. Pissed rain the entire load in and the towers around the field were an absolute pain in the hole to rig
I was too. Queens of the Stone Age, for fighters too
I was, PJ Harvey, foo fighters and Queens of the stone age played earlier. Great day, shit getting home
I’m right there in the middle
I was there!
There’s a 4k upscale of the concert viewable on YouTube

I was there, it was epic!
Yes indeed!!
I was 👋🏻👋🏻 What a show.
I was there, I bought the dvd when it came out and watch it on YouTube occasionally still. Best show I have ever been to. The intro guitar solo is just perfection, still gives me goosebumps years later!
Agree with the earlier comment too – it was shit getting home.
It was great. Thankfully the RHCP were in form (probably the taping) because they can be very hit or miss. And this is coming from a massive John Fruciante fan. Phoenix Park gig was one of the worst I’ve ever attended. Lansdowne road wasn’t up to much either.
Did the pixies and hot house flowers support? I think I was at it
Yup. Queens were incred.
I was there. Working though 😞
I was there, free ticket because I’m from slane, thought they were better when they supported U2 there in 2001, weather was great, queens of the stone age were the band of the day for me.
That’s me there, with the head, beside the other guy who also has a head.
I was there….to watch the foos, somehow got into the pit! Went bat crazy, the heat, they sweat, dehydration.
I had to leave and sit down the back when RHCP came on!! Utterly exhausted and happy!
Me!!
I was. First gig I went to at the age of 17.
Not me, and I’m still raging over it lol.
There’s a cool animation on netflix based on this concert. Love death robots, red hot chilli peppers. pretty cool
Yup, wild night.
One of the greatest shows of all time
I was there, feeder, morcheeba, pj Harvey, foo fighters, qotsa, rhcp, incredible line up, qotsa were unreal, def the highlight for me. Was right down at the barrier just before the pit, to the right of the stage, never been so squished in my life 😂😂 absolute hell getting home from it though, thought it would never end
I was there. One of the best days /gigs I’ve ever been too. Everything was just perfect that day.
I was at the Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert in Pheonix Park in the early 00’s, forget what year exactly, the Pixies were supporting them. A great concert! 🙌🏼
I was there to see QOTSA and Foos.
I was never much of a RHCP fan. I didn’t care too much about them.
QOTSA were awesome.
I was there, got the shift aswell
I believe there is a dvd of this?
The Starbucks of bands
Have the name and all the fame but very shit product
No but I saw them in Lansdowne Road in 2002. Amazing show.
One of the greatest gigs ever.
PJ Harvey. QOTSA. Foos. What a lineup. Frusciante was in great form too.
Yeah was at that one! Epic lineup, one of the best ever at Slane for sure. Brilliant day out. Love that DVD, must give it a watch sometime soon.
I think everyone was
I was there. The sound set up was shite! John Frusciante guitar was barely audible. I was centre and about 100 or so feet from the stage behind 4 Americans who thought it was wise to have a picnic!
I was there!! I’m the one in the crowd with the face shaped face, and the hair. Let me know when you spot me
Remember it well, when Queens opened with Millionaire I thought the place was gonna explode. Unreal, my best day of music concert memory.
