      Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland

      and he’ll raise it to 25% on June 1 if by then, a deal is not in place for “the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland”

      Let’s be clear, USA already has permission to have bases and personnel stationed in Greenland, by control he means to end the people’s of Greenland (and their resources) autonomy. That’s an invasion (there is an exception for peacekeeping and the like, but that’s not the case here). Congratulations to Trump, on becoming the polar opposite of what the founding fathers intended for the American government. Trump is marching the world to war, and doesn’t really care about if it’s Americas allies or enemies he fucks with (that’s also a good way to have very few allies)

      He can fuck right off. Maybe we should consider closing some of the bases on our land. If he did go ahead with this insane plan, then that should be an option. They shouldn’t use bases over here to launch their invasion. Can’t even believe that I’m typing this. What happened to the US? Utterly insane.

      Its the countries that sent tokenistic forces to Greenland.

      SCOTUS is expected to imminently decide whether to wipe out hundreds of billions of already collected tariffs under IEEPA. These tariffs would presumably be under a vague hand-wavy umbrella of „national security“.

      He has [previously stated he will tariff „any country“ that opposes his annexation of Greenland](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c9qpy952xvno) so the US may be moving to a regime of the president unilaterally taxing Americans however he personally likes, as long as there is a national security fig leaf (no matter how ludicrous).

      Europa just made an amazing trade deal with South America and we“re working on a trade deal with India. At saome point we don’t even need Murica anymore, and can just trade with everyone else.
