America could be a real problem for Ireland if America keeps pushing a MAGA agenda. Russia can’t really do much to Ireland. But if relations with the EU and US keep getting worse Ireland would be strategically important. If the US wanted to invade Europe, Ireland would be the first step.

The bigger issue is that Ireland was called out by name in their national security strategy (along with GB) as being places they need to influence to help drive their political agenda in Europe. Watch them try to influence our national discourse and interfere in our politics.
