      i’m finding you can draw a map of the Black population in any western country, including south and central america by just looking at where the closest departure point is from their coast to Africa

      Curious choice here because I’ve seen another map recently that shows while a lot of this holds up, there’s also some other areas that have a slightly more significant population in places you wouldn’t expect, like Alaska.

      I live in Pierce County, WA — and spend a lot of time in King County as well.

      And this map is blowing my mind how low the percentage is for those two, let alone being in a field of ‘white’ all around state(s) wide.
