He’s really trying to read a lot more strategy, coherence, and thought into the Trump admin and NSS than there is.

Ah yes, thus it is good to start a trade war with them, threaten the invasion of Greenland, and push out white supremacist talking points and threaten to intervene in their domestic affairs.

Trump has managed to spur Europe (or parts of it) to action, e.g. Europe has massively increased artillery ammo production and is now by far the main supporter of Ukraine. But it’s delusional to ignore the damage to US-Europe relations by which he has accomplished this, and to think that a stronger Europe won’t behave differently.

Or do they just watch Fox News and listen to lying, racist idiots like Geert Wilders? This madness is just like the Islamophobic ‚Eurabia‘ conspiracy hysteria by right-wing authors, pundits, and journalists after 9/11. It’s all hyperbolic, dishonest, and fear mongering.
