      Had Trump done this in a non-Trumpian way, maybe Greenland gets independence sooner and signs agreements with the US. But I think Trump has killed the possibility of Greenland independence in the near term as the US is way too unpredictable.

      Okay, tinfoil hat time. I find it really suspicious that trump had started saying he first wanted greenland right around the time a movement to lessen dependence on Denmark was gaining serious traction and of course lost all momentum due to his threats.
