The drop off after moving in is so interesting. I guess that sort of „garauntee“ at the end of the day and the volume of time you spend together kind of lessens the necessity to text.

Jeez lol I can’t even imagine exchanging 100 messages a day with my wife, or anyone for that matter. If I send 10 texts in a day that’s a lot. How do people do anything when they are texting so much?

I will never love anyone this much.

500 texts in a day? I can’t fathom

This is very interesting. I really love seeing how the number of messages ebbs and flows with each stage of the relationship. Like I think most people could pick out the stages with out the notations

Wait until you stop having sex. You’ll send each other 2 messages a day

I want this done to everyone I know now. I would literally pay money for an app.

Most heavily texting between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday. I’d hate to be your employer!

I’m just shocked at the sheer number of days with 200+ messages.
Who sends upwards of 300 messages to anyone in a day? Do you have jobs?
You’d be lucky to get 10 messages out of me before I thrown in the towel and call to save my thumbs.
If I have to message someone more than 5 times a day, I would cut them out of my life.
Good grief! Just pick up the phone and talk.

There is no day in my 25 years of marriage where I’ve needed to talk that much to my wife. Before texting, when we were dating we emailed. Maybe 1x a day. We used the phone – I know young people don’t do that anymore, they text. I think I am lucky to get more than 1 text a day from my wife, on average for the last 5 years.
I’ll be honest, its my generation I think, but I’d have you blocked if you sent me that many messages a day.

Well, it’s taken me 10 minutes to scroll back, and I’m only at August, so I give up.

I can’t imagine sending that many messages a week in total to more than one person let alone to a single person. What the hell do y’all be talking about all the damn time? Do you let them know about every time you fart or what?

A day? Maybe 200 a month, damn

You are doing 60% of the texts!! Going to have to tell the BF to bump up those numbers, they’re rookie numbers.

This is super cool. How on earth did you manage to filter through all that and make graphs? I’d like to do one of mine and my wife’s.
Any info would be appreciated.
