      „Munday described his actions as the „biggest mistake of his life“ and that he had lost everything, including his house and job, as a result.“. Hopefully, this is true. Great work by all those involved in convicting him.

      I absolutely revel in reading all these stories about hunters getting what’s coming to them, absolute delight in my feed among what is otherwise a deludge of depression

      Naughty chap, he’ll get a £10 fine, that’ll teach him.

      Animal cruelty laws in this country are shockingly lax, it’s a disgrace.

      Can’t help but feel the trap should have been destroyed/reported to police prior to this in order to save the buzzard’s life. It’s all well and good catching him and fining him but the buzzard is now dead. Fines don’t stop people committing offences, especially rich landowners.

      This is what happens on Grouse moors. Anything with teeth, talons and claws is trapped, shot, poisoned or tortured to death. They claim that they’re conservationists. They claim that they’re ’custodians of the countryside’. But they’re not. They’re barbaric, entitled, aristocratic criminals who are above the law and deprived of morality.

      The UK is one of the most bio-depleted countries on the planet, in no small part due to scum like this man and the estate that employed him.

      A lot more like him out there that need tracking down and brought to justice. Horrible pricks that they are.

      I’m not condoning these actions but after I come home to 10+ of my chickens with no heads and a fat buzzard killing for the fun of it you do question why they cannot be controlled. I do respect them and truly admire their beauty but when they massacred my flock in the space of a week it’s rather annoying!
