      The fact that they’re not is actually crazy. These things go up to 30mph and often on roads around me. They’re basically electric mopeds.

      Make it mandatory to wear a hi-viz for all cyclists and persons using a scooter.

      Kids on pitch black scooters tearing through the city head to toe in black clothes, at night. Its fucking wild that if you just make a new type of vehicle you get years out of it doing whatever you want.

      Ah yeah, road deaths and injuries climbing year on year with scooters being a negligible part of those deaths and injuries, but let’s not do anything about drivers,because sure lookit, we all drive.

      Watched a fella fall on one of these a few years ago and break his arm getting up onto a footpath. The irony of him doing so on a footpath outside a pharmacy is not lost on me.
