Has there been any response in Venezuela around the truth social post where trump declared he’s the acting president of Venezuela?

Do you think Trump will ramp up his attacks on the press since they constantly highlight how bad his actions are?

Also, do you feel the press should be more assertive in their statements? I personally want the press to start using words that matter: lie, liar, murder, attack, etc.

Tell us about your boss’s ties to Israel. Tell us how a former IDF prison guard can be trusted to steer a major magazine in today’s climate.

Does Venezuela have the domestic infrastructure to move forward with an election in the near future?

  5. Is Machado actually aligned politically with Trump, or is she just being obsequious with this business about „giving“ the prize to the guy….

When reporting on issues that are sensitive – do you fear retribution from this administration when the outcomes of said reporting result in critique of the government’s actions?

If the boat attacks were a prelude to an external military coup, should Mexico worry if attacks on the cartels begin?

What are you doing to combat the authoritarianism of this administration?

Trump claimed to have discussed the Venezuela oil situation with the oil companies prior to taking military action.

Clearly, based on their responses at yesterday’s meeting, he did not have their support for the post kidnapping plan.

How does the administration continuously get away with stating outright lies without being called on them by the press on a daily, or even hourly basis?

My feeling is that the more important situation re Venezuela is the US military strikes on Venezuelan boats that have so far destroyed 123 lives (by last count 1/8).

Why have our best legal minds been unable to come up with a way to make mass murder illegal in the US? I mean, if it’s not illegal for our military, it’s not illegal. We need to make it illegal. Right?

Wouldn’t a constitutional amendment applying a baseline, existing federal penalty for mass murder to everyone in the chain of command on those boat strikes, from the President on down to the guys or gals that pulled the triggers, actually get that done (in practice if not in black letter law)? And if so… why aren’t people working on that?

I mean, if you don’t try, it’s not going to happen. We know that much. If we do try, we’ve got a chance. And if it doesn’t become law, if it only approaches becoming law… it’s going to be a very clear bullet that was fired, that ought to give people pause in the future, before going forward with such things. That alone ought to have some effect.

How do you think the US raid on Venezuela might impact global relations with other countries?

How do you and other journalists keep getting access to this steady flow of interviews with this administration? Are they initiated by the publishers or the officials?

I can’t for the life of me understand why they keep sitting for interview after interview considering their attitude toward the press. It doesn’t seem like they are persuaded by bad press or have much of an incentive to persuade the public, they just do and dictate what they want. They insult any journalist who challenges them, and their most passionate followers have a very limited variety of press consumption. Yet everyday we wake up to a new interview or sit down from a high level official or the president. Why do they even bother at this point?

  14. Do you usually write that most if not all the actions of this presidency are just distractions for the president’s involvement in the Epstein Files?

  15. Is there any internal push back or dissent within the Trump admin regarding Venezuela, „Donroe Doctrine,“ and also Greenland? Or is everyone pushing in the same direction without any counter balance or pausing to weigh the pros and cons?
