Topple a hated regime with limited options and near inevitable failure

    Gain more love from Israel

Funds pour in from AIPAC and the like

Past year of corruption and issues – poof, never happened

There we go – that’s the game plan

  2. Probably the right time, there will not be anymore chance like these if Iran managed to massacre all protesters

Well if he’s thinking about doing that, they’re not moving any forces to the region right now. So it sounds like big talk at the moment.

Wonder how many American citizens will have to be murdered before he looks into doing anything to protect them.

That’s great and all, but I’m still going to need to see those Epstein files.

he’s completely high off of the relative success of the Venezuela operation. There is no military option here that makes any sense whatsoever, he’s just drunk on power and wants to use the military.

So… let me get this straight. He gives ice agents complete immunity to murder American citizens but he’s going after the Iranian government for the same thing… do I have this right?

  9. So much for no war under his watch. Honestly don’t see what’s the difference with Putin

I’m waiting for the Tweet where he says he’s the President/PM of Iran

Trump is considering anything that will take the attention away from him being a rapist pedophile.

A broken clock is right twice a day. Thousands are dying. Do it, hit em hard and go all the way.

  13. I hate the regime and would like to see it fall…. at the same time, I fear the consequences that the normal Trump bozo eruptions will have if it becomes „his“. The antics in Venezuela, acting like they run the place, depicting himself as the interim president, demanding the next leader will serve US economic interests safe guarding oil from its own citizens… in Iran that will all devolve to competing factions and violence very quickly.

I hope the regime collapses, and I hope the victory is owned, finally, by Iranians.

Well… I guess fighting a war with Iran will be better than fighting a war against Europe for Greenland…

Who was it that reduced Caracas to flames?
Even if the reports from Iran are accurate and warrant condemnation,
do they truly possess the moral authority to criticize others?

  16. There was a headline over the weekend implying that the military in the US were trying to give Trump other ideas of places to attack, to distract him from trying to invade Greenland. I wonder if intervention in Iran was one of those options. It almost – not quite, but almost – feels like a normal bit of foreign policy, rather than Trump’s usual madness.

He is like a louder Reagan and if it is possible, even more demented.

  18. No one wants the US in the Middle East until it’s convenient for them. Sure, let the US do all of the dirty work. Where are the other Muslim countries?
