Can’t wait to trespass the border between Nordrhein-Westfalen and Borneo, my next trip.

  2. Was it printed on fabric? I once owned a bit of fabric that looked like this. The intention is to have a repeating map pattern to make sheets, shirts or whatever out of, that’s why they glued parts of the world together in a weird kind of way.

  3. Im not sure but I think this is called transverse projection, it’s like Mercator but the cylindrical projection is transverse or sideways, I don’t think it’s used nowadays but was used a long time ago for polar navigation (airplanes)

Not sure but its clearly an Italian map, or rather quite a lot of the place names are written in italian.

The map triggers me with my OCD. The map intrigues me artiscally.

The Greenlandia (Dan.) part will trigger a very silly subset of people that are absolutely serious and have power.
