      We all see a video of a woman getting shot in the face repeatedly as she tries to drive away from a fairly mundane situation. We’re expected to believe a brave police officer fought for his life against a violent terrorist thug.

      We all see one of the world’s largest social media platforms develop a tool that allows the trivial and effortless production and distribution of actual child pornography, the owner of the platform chooses to do basically nothing about it. We’re expected to believe its just a political attack because woke lefties just really don’t like Twitter or Musk.

      Guys this shit is getting *insane* you don’t need to keep up this act any more.

      It begs the question, is all censorship bad? Most people self censor all the time, which means censorship serves a purpose that is for the sake of a civilized society. Some people need a help to understand what’s excessively inappropriate, like digitally undressing people without their consent and sharing it with the world, which is where sensible censorship has a role to play. We can always argue over what should be censored, but the case for some censorship is obvious.

      He’s actively promoting, creating, supporting, encouraging the use of, and then putting access to it behind a subscription model. He is, in no uncertain way, profiting off of the creation of revenge porn and CSAM.

      If you or I had a system that we used for creating this sort of stuff, were letting people pay for it, and actively promoting it, our lives would be ruined (rightly so), but Musk? All he says is „They just want to suppress free speech“ and your usual degenerates fall in behind him.

      One of the main targets for these AI Grok deepfakes has been Nell Fisher. She’s a young British actress, she plays Holly in the newest season of stranger things. The images they’re deepfaking were taken when she was about 12 on set. They’re undressing her, making Grok put her into sexual positions, covering her in fluids. It’s horrific. We need to protect our young people, I cannot even begin to imagine how traumatic this has been for her.

      We have had debates over the limits of free speech for decades and have arrived at something most people broadly agree with. Print media gets fined and ultimatly banned if it keeps going over the line. so WTF are we having this whold debate again insteaof just applying the LAW to social media like it should have been in the first place.

      Musk has a history of tweaking grok behind the scenes when it spouts an answer he or his fanbase do not like, so I guess he’s an authority on what is or isn’t censorship.

      The man is offering a service that produces csam for people then allows them to share it with others. Also, AI doesn’t produce images from thin air. It has to be trained. Someone needs to be investigating what X has stored on there hard drives as training material.

      I’ve had a pet conspiracy theory since pizzagate that the people behind trump have been working on a psyop „if everyone is a paedo, no one will care about our puppet being a paedo“. Musk has found a way to turbo charge the normalisation of child sexual abuse and sounds extremely proud of it (he’s described the torrent of AI CSAM on Twitter as „funny“.)

      I know this sounds obvious but we generally may have to work hard against normalisation here
