Interesting the strongmen during Trump II don’t seem as effective at the Trump flattery game. But the leaders of democracies and companies seem to be more agile at it

    2. Official statements from India suggest President Trump and PM Modi spoke several times in the last few months. There were 3 calls after tariffs were imposed on India. The most recent was on 11th Dec after a round of trade talks had concluded

Trump recently made a rather childish statement saying that Modi called to say what in effect was `Please Sir, can we have the military equipment we purchased‘. The content of that call was fact checked and found to have no basis. It only succeeded in making the US look like an unreliable weapons supplier.

While both Trump and Luttink are often wrong, this time they contradict each other.

wouldn’t the Modi government have gotten used to Trump during Trump 1.0?

Nutlick is perfect as a foil to Trump. Two peas in a pod sort of.

One lies for a living and the other repeats his lies for a living.
