Hallo, ich bin ein Tourist, der sich darauf freut, bald Deutschland zu besuchen. Der Einfachheit halber habe ich über die MVV-App ein Deutschlandticket gekauft. Ich habe gehört, dass eine Kündigung des Abonnements notwendig ist, da sonst automatisch ein Ticket für den Folgemonat bezahlt wird. Allerdings erhielt ich eine E-Mail, dass mein Abonnement gekündigt wurde, obwohl ich nichts unternommen habe. Werden die Bedingungen geändert oder sollte ich etwas anderes tun, um zu kündigen? Dies ist die E-Mail, die ich erhalten habe.

If I understand it right they cancelled it because they cant use your Payment method. Just buy the Ticket when you Arrive here otherwise you pay for the Months you dont use the Ticket. The best option is just to contact them and ask them what they mean.
It says it’s cancelled effective 01.02.2026 (are you American? Because that means on the first of February, not second of January). It’s a monthly subscription and if you only want to use it this month, you have to cancel the subscription. That’s happened here. If you didn’t cancelled it, you should use the contact information.
If you’re not a resident then the only app you should be bothering with is Mopla. You can buy the current month then cancel immediately, or the day before the last day of the month.
This looks like you got the ticket for January though, maybe? As the cancellation is from 1st February?
