    1. As someone with some experience in this field (quality assurance) I looked into the matter

An oil used in infant products around the world is produced in a factory in Switzerland. A higher than normal level of this toxin was detected in Austria who let Nestlé know and they then traced it back to this factory.

Nestle Switzerland is, from my experience, quite strong in terms of quality assurance (because of the intense scrutiny they face since big problems abroad).

Important to note that no cases of illness have been observed. For anyone that uses these products, it’s typically vomiting and diarrhea soon after consuming. If no symptoms are observed, it isn’t considered dangerous.

The proactive recall is standard process in these cases and you can contact Nestlé for advice and even reimbursement.

    2. Wizard-of-pause on

Nestle just can’t stop putting poison in baby food. Imagine if there was no one checking…

Free market Americans would say that it’s ok – couple/hundred kids die and market votes with their wallets to remove them from the market. Insanity.

    3. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it isn’t the first time I hear about poison in baby formula made by Nestlé…there seems to be some deficiencies into quality control at this giant corporation with „swiss made“ products.

    4. Not the first time these criminals produce baby food with toxic matter inside! Already there was an incident around 2011 that was covered up. I never bought Nestle shit after 2011.
