(Erneutes Veröffentlichen auf Englisch, was ich geschrieben habe /r/finnisch) Ich habe in den letzten 12 Jahren viel Zeit auf Reddit verbracht (Hilfe senden) und die gruseligste Veränderung, die mir aufgefallen ist /r/europaaber auch manchmal hier und /r/Finnland – und auch abseits von Reddit auf Plattformen wie Facebook, Threads und Tiktok gibt es einen Anstieg von Accounts, die sagen, Helsinki sei es "ruiniert".
Ich meine nicht die üblichen Witze darüber, dass die Menschen in Helsinki von allem außerhalb von Kehä 3 abgekoppelt sind, oder die typischen Witze oder Kritik, die Leute aus anderen Städten machen könnten. Ich beziehe mich auf besonders scharfe und hetzerische Äußerungen, die bedeuten würden, dass Helsinki irgendwie unbewohnbar ist. "ruiniert", "Müll"und andere Phrasen, die Menschen außerhalb der Stadt glauben machen sollen, dass es dort nichts Wertvolles gäbe; nichts, was es wert wäre, beschützt oder verteidigt zu werden.
Dies passt in einen umfassenderen Versuch als Fehlinformation über europäische Städte.
In diesem Artikel geht es um eine koordinierte Anstrengung gefälschter Social-Media-Konten, die Narrative über London zu ändern, und leider funktioniert sie.

Obwohl in dem Artikel nur von London die Rede ist, sehe ich täglich ähnliche Kommentare von ofenfrischen Reddit- und Tiktok-Konten über viele Städte, darunter auch Helsinki.
Das Ziel dieser Art von Propaganda ist einfach: Wenn etwas ruiniert, verdorben und schrecklich ist, lohnt es sich nicht, es zu retten oder sich darum zu kümmern. Warum also eine Hauptstadt verteidigen oder beschützen? "zerstört"?
Die einzigen Menschen, die von Außenstehenden profitieren, die an London oder Helsinki denken, sind "ruiniert" sind Menschen, die uns verletzen wollen.
Das Schlimmste ist, wenn finnische Politiker auf den nützlichen Idiotenzug der Zerschlagung ihrer eigenen Städte aufspringen. Ob sie es wissen oder nicht, sie gehorchen den Anweisungen Russlands und Musks.
Wenn Sie Ihr Land wirklich lieben, können Sie über die Probleme sprechen, die es möglicherweise hat, ohne so zu tun, als wären die Probleme so unlösbar, dass das Land genauso gut nicht existieren könnte. Noch einmal: Wem nützt es, so zu reden?
Als Moderator versuche ich mein Bestes, unparteiisch zu sein, wenn es um geopolitische Diskussionen hier und da geht /r/europaaußer dass ich die Ukraine offen und voll und ganz unterstütze. Aber als jemand, der dieses Zeug jeden Tag lesen muss, ist es leicht, Muster zu erkennen und zu bemerken, wann sich die Erzählung ändert und wann "Menschen" Beginnen Sie, auf mehreren Plattformen nahezu identische Kommentare zu schreiben.
Helsinki is fine. Don't amplify Russian and/or American misinformation.

Is it specific to Helsinki or do people know nothing more about Finland than Helsinki? (and Rovaniemi…)
I’ve noticed there was a huge surge of YouTube comment bots with faked identities (AI videos to prove the nationality etc) after the Miss Finland scandal. Talk about hybrid war when 80% of commenters are not real and half of the remaining people think they are in good company.
This isn’t just a Finland thing, this happens in every country.
The capital city is practically always the most liberal, open and multi-cultural place in a country and looked down upon/disliked by the rest of the country for that reason.
Recently I talked to an Argentinian woman from Buenos Aires about this exact topic and her opinion was, I quote:
„You nailed it about capital cities. I am from a capital city and the rest of the country hates us. They say we imitate the worst tendencies from the US and other countries while they mostly keep ‚true‘ to our roots. In some neighbourhoods they are correct, even more so today with massive immigration from other south american countries.“
Yes, on the topic there are exaggeratedly negative views of Helsinki expressed on social media lately, but they are only exaggerations, they are not WRONG in spirit.
Helsinki isn’t „ruined“ but it is the least Finnish. It is the place that has most lost its roots.

And how much of this is actually happening? (if you ignore accounts that are clearly bots, that are not going to be affected by messeges like this anyway?)
Being worried about certain things and the direction some areas are heading to is not the same thing as thinking/saying thing are uncorrectable, actually it´s the oppsite.
Not trying to dismiss your point. But to me this feels like: „if you criticize the effects of mass immigration in our capital city, then you are a russian bot“
