    Sadly it’s difficult to see it as anything other than savvy branding. If the government really wanted to, it would be so easy for them to unilaterally build confidence among Turkish Cypriots through Turkish.

  3. It is a good step, late but good. Appreciated. I hope one day the president of RoC would post something on social media in Turkish. Unlikely but would be cool. Theoretically, he represents all the Cypriots.

    One thing I don’t get is; why the first letter of french and some others were not written with capital letters.

    Didn’t understand the French? It is obviously not for Cyprus but probably for Belgium or the EU; however, then why not German?
    Isn’t German more widely used in the EU?
