Rosstat (staatlicher Föderaler Statistikdienst Russlands) berichtete über die gesamte Industrieproduktion fällen 0,7 % im Jahresvergleich, während die Produktion im verarbeitenden Gewerbe um 1 % zurückging, der erste Rückgang in der Branche seit Februar 2023.
Der Rückgang war größtenteils auf Nicht-Rohstoffindustrien zurückzuführen, auch wenn der Bergbau um 0,7 % zulegte, was die wachsende Kluft zwischen dem Rohstoffsektor und dem Rest der Wirtschaft verdeutlicht.

In einigen Segmenten kam es zu dem, was Analysten als Einbruch bezeichneten. Die Traktorenproduktion ging um 61,6 % zurück, die Produktion von Bulldozern sank um 53,7 %, die Produktion von Aufzügen sank um 37,2 % und die Produktion von Personentriebwagen halbierte sich.

I don’t see Russia making it through 2026.
Russia has always been a gas station. Any extra industries can easily be shed. If poverty goes up, that means more meat at the front. I am still very skeptical about the supposed imminent collapse of the Russian economy. As long as oil and natural resources are valuable, Russia will have money for war.
The way this war ends us that Russia get degraded enough and Ukraine gets supported enough that Ukraine starts pushing Russia out. This is going to take many years and hundreds of billions of dollars to achieve.
Are these percentages by rouble value, tonnage? Is inflation factored in?
Tractors, bulldozers, elevators and cars hint to one particular industry eating up resources, thats certainly a decline but can also be an indicator the shift to war ‚economy‘ is in full swing.
Multiple by 4-5 whatever the official statistics say when they’re not good. The numbers are bad enough that they can’t hide them, but they don’t want them to be bad enough that they lose their lives for reporting them to Putin.
They’re in trouble.

Its a decline of 0.7% according to the article. Doesn‘t look like enough to me, but its a start
