      Right. The church of the tiny nation is wishing for war, the imperialistic nation that invaded Cyprus is just trying to save its people from the crazy church people.

      Let’s get real. These priests and archbishops etc are politicians. So much for separation of church and state, so much for freedom of and from religion.

      And as always the failing peace talks have nothing to do with Turkey, right?

      I wish someday Greek Cypriot community manages to become as secular as Turkish Cypriots.

      Not the first time the Archbishop decides to attack the agreed framework for the solution. In fact of what I hear, at the end of the Thia Liturgia he oftens spends more time talking about politics-cyprus problem than theological/church issues.

      The people elected a President who is responsible to negotiate the Cyprob, the bishop was elected to run the Church (well the people elected someone else ofc)

      And yes it is time to do so.
