Just say Gripen coming much sooner if it’s a confirmed fact and that’s all the good news necessary. Putting the possibility of Taurus out there is just an empty promise at this point and leaves a bitte taste. Germany is helping Ukraine in other ways, but we all know by now that Taurus just won’t happen.

The agreement to produce Gripen E’s for Ukraine was only recently signed in October 2025 with a 3-year delivery date.
The integration of the Taurus missile isn’t as impactful to Ukraine today as the message it sends to Putin that Sweden fully intends that Kyiv will still be here 3-years from today and will have a next generation fighter that easily outperforms the F-16 and Mirage 2000 especially in EW capability and weapons.
