Need one of these every 1 km of the frontline. Surely the can make em in a couple months time. About 1200 units

    2. This is no surprise.

Drones are a new factor on the battlefield and their success is partially due to military equipment not being prepared for quick moving and numerous attackers.

But we’ve seen the resurgent of systems like the Gepard and the Shilka (A article from today even) with modern evolution like the Australian Slinger and German Skynex. Those work great for protecting a large areas like bases, cities and infrastructure.

But for vehicles, you don’t need to reach 4+ km to kill an attacker. 20-100m is more than enough against a (current) fpv drone. Systems like this will soon be on modern vehicles and will blunt the spear-tip of drones. If this one has a kill range of 800m (as Ok-Addition mentioned) then it might even take the occasional shot at observation drones.

Depending on how quick thing can switch between killing one drone to the next, it will push for a new evolution in drone warfare. It will all depend on that mount and the sensor package, the gun wont be an issue, plenty of 7.62 NATO weapons that can shoot fast and accurate enough.

I wonder if it has an auto aim. That way, the remote operator only has to pull the trigger, but the turret saves ammo, and more drones can be taken out.

    4. With that ammo it’s basically unlimited and cheap in use…, hopefully it’s not too expensive to buy… Looks amazing..
