Am türkischen Grenzübergang „Alican“ an der Grenze zu Armenien haben die Vorbereitungsarbeiten für die Eröffnung begonnen

>It is noted that, within the framework of the project, additional construction of the Alican road is planned, connecting it to the interchange of the Karakoyunlu district and the “Zangezur corridor,” which will make it possible to improve connectivity toward Iğdır and enhance regional trade and logistics potential.

>To this end, on-site inspections at the Alican border crossing were carried out by Iğdır Governor Ercan Turan, Head of the Migration Service Hüseyin Kökre, Acting Director General of Logistics of Turkey’s Ministry of Defense Major General Ahmet Hamdi Ataç, and representatives of a number of state institutions.

>In the border zone, issues related to improving technical infrastructure, raising existing standards, and strengthening logistics capacity were discussed.
