      I wonder why this is happening. Is there any expansionist imperialist country in the region currently occupying more than a third of Cyprus for 50 years which threatens Greece and Israel with war and invasion every other month?

      Christodoulides is trying to join Cyprus at the hip to the American sphere of influence since he knows he’ll lose to AKEL in the next elections so he wants to make his damage irreversible and turn Cyprus into the West’s unsinkable aircraft carrier to project power in West Asia.

      I don’t see what a mixed brigade specifically could possibly accomplish (where would it even be stationed?), but strategic rapprochement with Israel is definitely to our benefit, at least as far as Turkey’s aggression is concerned.

      Turkish bots are trying to convince us that Turkey is a peaceful country that has not invaded Cyprus or any neighboring countries in recent decades.

      Aligning with Israel is the only logical way to ensure peace.

      Look guys completely logical approach. We are a small shit In the Mediterranean Sea, we are the only member of EU technically still in war and we are the only country in EU with half of the country occupied. And all that against the biggest army in Europe . So yes that’s a good thing we need some alliances and if you ask me it’s better if the Israeli and US use officially military installations of the Cypriot army . The world has turned nuts the past years no guarantee that this dictator erdogan doesn’t start a new war for no reason

      To me it sounds like a reason for IDF baby killers and mossad terrorist agents to be stationed here, mark my words, adter some years, there will be some sort of terror attack in Cyprus
