Als ich aufwuchs, kannte ich meinen leiblichen Vater nicht und man sagte mir immer, ich sei halbtürkisch, daher war ich überrascht, meine Ergebnisse zu sehen. Ich konnte eine Bio-Familie finden und mit ihr in Kontakt treten und erfuhr, dass meine Familie türkisch-zypriotisch ist und in den 60er/74er Jahren aus Limassol kam und nach Australien einwanderte. Ich bin sehr daran interessiert, etwas über meine Kultur zu erfahren und habe den Subreddit und andere Quellen durchforstet, um mich über die Geschichte Zyperns zu informieren.

I hate to break it to you but the results you got is probably BS. The algorithms they use to are doing a lot of „creative“ assumptions and you will get different results with different companies.
That being said, even if that info were realistic, it is not a very good idea to give your DNA to sketchy companies.
For the large part Cypriot Turks & Cypriot Greeks are genetically identical, only difference is some got culturally Turkified under Ottoman rule and became Turkish identifying.
They’re both like a 90% genetic match.
