    1. I would guess it has less to do with the curriculum as with a higher percentage of educated parents. Luxembourgish curriculum is the norm, while European school is mostly for people working for EU institutions.

      “Students attending an EPS showed a more positive mean score development in mathematics, particularly when the language of instruction is closer to the language spoken at home,” the report states. 

      Students from a lower socio-economic background and those who do not speak Luxembourgish at home have benefited the most. “Student groups that have repeatedly been found to be at a higher risk of struggling academically in Luxembourg’s education system […] showed a more positive development in mathematics when attending an EPS,” the authors wrote.

      The scores are higher than lycee general, but lower than classique. Pic with results in 7e and 9e.

      In classique 70% of students has Mathematics in a language that is different than their language spoken at home and they are still doing better.
