I mean counting the brest-litovsk puppets, this is just… a map of German plans in Europe
If Germany were intent on annexing chunks of the Netherlands it seems daft not to go the whole hog.
I mean, this is pretty spot on to what happened for a brief time
Many people do not know that the concept of *Lebensraum* was not invented by Hitler – it was an old German idea that flourished at the end of the 19th century. As Germany reunited after the Age of Discovery, they came far too late to the world scene to claim any oversea colonies and developed the idea that Germany had to turn to the East in order to conquer their own colonies to extract natural resources from.
However this map is in fact British wartime propaganda and it is not based on any real claims by Germany.
Britain drawing these maps going “Anywhere the Germans can walk to is potential new territory – but ya can’t walk over the English Channel!”
