    1. Pls help us, in italy people U35 are literally hostage of boomers who massively vote for old politicians for having old law for protecting the wealth of old people at the expense of the younger ones.

And we still are too many for have any impact whatsoever, even if there is a party with our interests in its programs 😔

    2. Lazy map. Can easily find data for other countries with a quick google. Don’t label it “Europe’s…” if you’re not going to try and make it complete

I didn’t realize that all of Europe has a lower minimum wage than Seattle (3400 a month).

Why are Bulgaria and Romania in EU again? Seems like they had absolutely no economic progress in two decades!

    5. Ireland has a high wage but put that against purchasing power and rent and house prices and you’re probably better off in somewhere like Czechia

WTF? No way there is alaw in Germany that guarantees you more than 2k€ a month. The assume how many working hours here?

    7. Wages are half of these in UK or Ireland in Poland and most of the prices are the same. That’s why we migrate.

While there’s no federal minimum wage in Switzerland, in my canton it’s ~4,000€.

A month is roughly 168 work hours. So these are pretty low hourly rates. Poland, Hungary, Romania are 6-8 Euro per hour. I know the US is $7.25 but even temps earn $15+ these days.

    10. I love how Italy sticks out for not having minimum wage lol. Just as I loved getting paid 6€/hr

    11. So, and now redo it again and put it into purchasing power perspective, so these numbers make actually sense
